American freedom is the right of the people to vote on any issue by our
Constitution. The implementation of this vote is another matter but the right
to vote on any issue including secession is our American right.
Texas Secedes features Matthew Wolverine an affluent Texas oilman who
in 2004 tells the federal government to stop spending like drunken sailors fix
Social Security and protect Texas southern border. The federal government ignores
him so he prays with his family and they travel across Texas with a petition to
vote on secession. By, 2008, Congress and the President continue recklessly spending
driving the US into a deeper recession, which causes enough Texas signatures to
let Texas vote on secession.
Texas needs heroes like Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, and Colonel Travis who
stood up to Dictator Santa Ana when he did away with the 1824 Mexican constitution
forcing Texas to secede. Will the United State continue spending itself deeper
into bankruptcy? At what point will Texas draw a line in the sand and say, "If,
you spend another Trillion dollars we will divorce the United States?"
This
novel is dedicated to our brave troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. The author only
received one care package of food in the jungles of Vietnam but he would have
